Punk Rock Radar is dedicated to showcasing new punk rock releases and celebrating the glorious past of the genre.  My introduction to punk came (like a lot of my generation) with Green Day’s “Dookie” in 1994.  During my adolescence I discovered bands by buying compilation CDs, reading liner notes, and eventually the internet.  I started a blog in 2011 “Obscure Band Spotlight” but it flamed out after a few weeks, but in 2020, after years of scouring sites like DyingScene.com and Punknews.org, I decided to share my weekly findings through Instagram.  Fast forward three years and here we are!
